Role Senior Consultant – Safety & Operation Integrity
Primary Purpose

Provide subject matter expertise to Constant Consultants clients based on professional knowledge and experience in the field of Safety, Loss Prevention and Operation Integrity. Additionally, provides expertise and mentorship to their teams. Assess, recommend and promote approaches for applying Operation Integrity methodologies and techniques to large scale and multiple projects and industrial facilities.

The Safety & Operation Integrity Senior Consultant will deliver presentations to the clients’ executive level staff, providing updates on the development of Safety objectives including risk identification/mitigation, deliverables, timelines and resources. He will participate in training, including knowledge transfer of specialized skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients to Plan and conduct HAZOP reviews
  • Perform Risk & Reliability Analysis
  • Facilitate the development of departmental safety & loss prevention procedures
  • Scope preparation, coordination & review of client SHE activities
  • Perform Fire & Explosion Assessments
  • Perform Hazardous Area Classification Layouts
  • Conduct safety reviews
  • Identify, evaluate and scope new business opportunities
  • Work closely with our clients from project inception through completion
  • Responsible for the coordination of communication between the client's internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate the identification and resolution of any program roadblocks
  • Deliver training in a classroom or on-the-job setting
Knowledge & Skills
  • 15 to 20 years work experience in Safety & Loss prevention
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering an asset
  • Must have hands on experience and knowledge in the Risk and Emergency preparedness Analysis
  • Travel requirements vary with client needs
