Role Senior Consultant - Project Management
Primary Purpose

Provide subject matter expertise to Constant Consultants clients based on professional knowledge and experience. Additionally, provides project methodology expertise and mentorship to their team. Assess, recommend and promote approaches for applying project methodologies and techniques to large scale and multiple projects.

The Project Management Consultant will provide leadership, tactical planning, research, analysis, and operations/project liaison to specific projects and operations in support of the client's corporate strategic objectives.

The Project Management Consultant will deliver presentations to the clients executive level staff, providing updates on the development of project objectives including project scope, risk identification/mitigation, negotiation on project deliverables, timelines and resources. He will participate in project training, including knowledge transfer of specialized skills.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate and scope new business opportunities for Constant Consultants in the project management field
  • Work closely with our clients from project inception through completion
  • Perform feasibility studies. Develop project execution strategies
  • Perform planning, estimating, designing, tracking and start-up of projects
  • Responsible for the coordination of communication between the client's internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate the identification and resolution of any program/project roadblocks
  • Deliver training in a classroom or on-the-job setting. Prepare instructional materials and visual aids
Knowledge & Skills
  • 15 to 20 years work experience in project engineering and management roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project management. MBA an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of various software programs and technologies, advanced project planning, group presentation visuals, and spreadsheet and database management
  • Experience in developing new markets and leading related project activities an asset
  • Travel requirements vary with client needs
