Hany has several years of experience in Project Development, Project management and Plant Management in the petrochemical industry. Prior to joining the consulting field, Hany held several key leadership positions in ExxonMobil and Tyco Corporation. They included the role of Regional General Manager for South and South East Asia, Regional Human Resources Director for Asia, Vice-President Engineering and Construction, General Manager Technology and New Ventures, Safety, Health and Environmental Director.

Hany’s HR assignments included spearheading the strategic planning of Human Resources for Tyco Fire & Security in Asia, leading the training and organization development & effectiveness and assuming the role of Dean of the ExxonMobil Academy.
Moreover, Hany’s work experience includes managing a P/L on a Regional level, spearheading the development of large capital investment projects in North America, United Kingdom, Singapore, Pakistan and Indonesia, Coordinating the financing of large capital investment projects with international stakeholders and banks such as the International Finance Cooperation, the Common Wealth Development Cooperation and the Asia Development Bank. He led the formation of joint ventures with multi-nationals, such as Mitsubishi and Mitsui and negotiated with Government bodies the terms and conditions of establishing capital investment projects.
Hany participated in acquisition, divestment and merger of companies in Singapore, Canada, Pakistan and India. He developed and managed alliance agreements with Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractors such as Foster Wheeler and Worley Parsons.
Hany has an extensive knowledge of the business environment in Asia and successfully operated in multicultural and diverse work environment.
Hany draws on his considerable expertise in managing change and his experience of working with thousands of employees across numerous countries and teams of managers through change in the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, Service, Construction and Engineering Industries.

His expertise includes on-boarding, maximizing team relationships, developing thought leadership and managing change initiatives.
A Canadian Citizen, a Singapore Permanent resident, Hany graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Laval Univ. in Quebec, Canada.
